Missouri Civil Rights Initiative
As a result of the work of organized opposition (including many members of the MU community), supporters of the Missouri Civil Rights Initiative (MO-CRI) did not collect the number of signatures necessary to submit their petition to the Secretary of State, effectively ending their 2008 attempt to ban affirmative action in Missouri.
