MU Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month: Sept. 15 - Oct. 15, 2011

Hispanic heritage month kicks off the MU academic year of heritage month activities extending 30 days from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. The Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO)external link and Multicultural Centerexternal link provide programs ranging from a Dance Club learning experience with styles like salsa, merengue, and cumbia in the queue, to featured presentations, movies and more. The Hispanic Latin American Faculty and Staff Associationexternal link also participate with their annual HLAFSA Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Picnic.
