Worthington Leaves MU Diversity Post
We are very sorry to report that Roger Worthington has submitted his resignation as Assistant Deputy Chancellor for Diversity and Chief Diversity Officer. For more than 10 years working on campus-wide diversity issues, Dr. Worthington has been committed to serving the best interests of the university by increasing awareness of diversity issues at MU. Under his leadership, we have made progress in many areas. For the next few months, Dr. Worthington will be concentrating on priority projects such as the general education diversity requirement and Difficult Dialogues. He will return to his role as a full professor in the College of Education, effective August 31, 2011.
We truly appreciate all that Dr. Worthington has done to promote diversity at MU.
