Regional Graduate Student Literature Conference at Kansas State University

April 14, 2012 at 8:00 AM to April 14, 2012 at 10:00 PM
Kansas State University

Description

For our second annual regional Graduate Student Literature Conference, we will explore representations of others and otherness, as well as what the study of literature should include and what defines our discipline.  The conference invites papers on a broad range of texts from diverse historical periods, cultures, and theoretical perspectives.  We especially welcome scholars whose research challenges the nature of literary studies, those working with unconventional forms of literature, and those approaching literature from the perspective of other disciplines.  We are no longer accepting abstracts.  Seminar space is still available.

Extended deadline to request seminar enrollment:  Feb. 29, 2012.  Notification will occur on or before Mar. 1, 2012.  Conference fee of $25 will be due Mar. 15.

More information is available from the Kansas State Dept. of English.
