Description
Presented by Busya Lugovier, violist, MU Music Department. We would like to invite all Noel P. Gist Seminar members to the following presentation, hosted by the International Center and the Honors College. Lugovier presents the story of a 21 year old sister-city relationship between Dubna, Russia and La Crosse, Wisconsin, which started right after the Cold War. There will be a special performance by the Graduate International String Quartet (Ronaldo Sarmanho- violin, Brazil; Andrei de Matos- violin, Brazil; Busya Lugovier- viola, Russia; Kevin High- cello, Texas; Natalia Bolshakova- piano, Russia). "When trumpets play, the guns are silent."
