Health Gathering and Information Fair

The Status of Women Committee invites Faculty and Staff to attend our first ever Women's Health Gathering on Monday March 10.

As part of Women's History Month this time is reserved as an opportunity to gather information, explore issues related to Women's Health and Wellness, and visit with health and wellness professionals.

Learn about important issues for women such as: healthy woman checkups; mammograms; the new HPV vaccine and lots more.

Event offerings include:

• 1:30-5pm, Health and Wellness Fair
  Learn about services, programs and products available on campus and in the community including information about: Massages, Books, Dermatology, Healthy Living and Domestic Violence. Healthy snacks will be provided.
• 2:00pm, Campus Benefits and Coventry Representatives
  Find out information about available health care coverage and wellness opportunities. This is your opportunity to learn about coverage options for Women.
• 3:30pm, Dr. Elizabeth Barlet, Missouri OB/GYN Associates
  Dr. Barlet's interests include Adolescent Gynecology, Contraception/Family Planning, General Gynecology, Gynecologic Surgery, Menopause, Obstetrics and Prenatal Care and Women's Health Care. Listen and learn about health issues relevant to today's woman.
• 4:00pm, Jenny Workman, T.E. Atkins Wellness Program
  Many wellness programs, services and activities are available to employees of the University of Missouri. Find out about the opportunities available to you.
