Tribute to MU Women 2007 Nominations

The MU Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Women asks you to nominate outstanding Mizzou women to be honored at the Tribute to MU Women 2007.

NOMINATION

Two letters of nomination must be submitted in support of each candidate. It is the responsibility of the nominator to ensure that TWO letters are submitted on their nominee's behalf. Nomination letters will be kept confidential and only members of the Tribute to MU Women committee will read the letters.

ELIGIBILITY

Nominees should be currently active MU faculty, staff or students who:

1. Have worked to help create an environment of equity, fairness and justice for all women on the MU campus, including all students, faculty and staff
2. Have respected the diversity of women's experiences
3. Have helped promote the advancement of women through education, advocacy, support and activism.

Current members (excluding ex-officio members) of the Status of Women Committee are not eligible for nomination. For a list of current members, please visit the Status of Women Committee.

SELECTION

The Selection Committee, comprised of members of the MU Committee on the Status of Women, will notify each nominator that their letter of nomination has been received. Nominees chosen by the Selection Committee will be honored at an afternoon ceremony and reception on March 22, in conjunction with Women's History Month. Nominators will be invited to the ceremony along with University officials and friends of the honoree.
