You in Mizzou
Q & A
Q: What is YOU IN MIZZOU?
YOU IN MIZZOU! is a program sponsored by the Chancellor's Diversity Initiative. It incorporates respectful dialogue and small circle discussions about how specific issues on campus personally affect us.
Q: What is the goal of YOU IN MIZZOU?
A: Our goal is to include everyone at Mizzou; every student, faculty and staff member. We want to get everyone talking about issues that affect us and everyone listening about the issues that affect each other.
Q: How is YOU IN MIZZOU! different from other forums and panels on campus?
A: Our hope is that students, staff and faculty will find our program a safe space to have important discussions about issues that are hard to address. By sharing experiences in small groups, we are better able to understand others with whom we share the same campus. It is important to begin breaking down the barriers so we can foster a more inclusive campus community, which in turn yields a richer academic environment.
