MU recognizes Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April. These events are free and open to all MU students, faculty and staff.

We are committed to ensuring our events are accessible and inclusive. Please contact rsvp@missouri.edu at least a week in advance if you anticipate barriers to your participation.

Social Media Campaign

Follow us the RSVP Center on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @RSVPCenter and join in on our campaign to raise awareness surrounding sexual assault!

Stop by the MU Student Center and show off your teal in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month! Take the pledge, sign the banner and show your intolerance for power-based personal violence. Hosted by It’s On US Mizzou.

The spring Green Dot Conference is part of the overall goal to end violence through the practice of bystander intervention. Bring a friend and learn both proactive and reactive strategies!

You Have Options is a resource-focused presentation by staff from the RSVP Center and Office for Civil Rights & Title IX. The goal is to ensure those directly and indirectly affected by power-based personal violence are aware of their campus and community resources.

An interactive program addressing the biases and myths surrounding sexual assault in the Black community. This scenario-based event will directly confront misconceptions that are embedded in our community about what violence looks like and who is affected. This event is hosted by the GOBCC and Legion of Black Collegians.

The RSVP Educators invite you to learn about the legal aspects of domestic and sexual violence. A panel of legal experts will talk about their own experiences with the justice system and answer any of your questions.

Join together in the mission to end harassment and sexual assault. The Mizzou community will march through campus to honor survivors’ voices, hold a vigil to remember victims, and speak out about personal experiences to shatter the silence around sexual and intimate partner violence. Event hosted by S.T.A.R.S.

Denim Day is a call to action for all people to come together by wearing denim as a visible sign of protest against sexual violence. Join MU students, faculty and staff by wearing denim/jeans on this day and picking up information at the tabling event in the Triangle Space in the MU Student Center.
