The University of Missouri recognizes Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April. These events are free and open to all MU students, faculty and staff.

Denim Day

Denim Day started in 1998 after the Italian Supreme Court overturned a rape conviction on the grounds that, because the survivor was wearing tight jeans, she must have helped remove them, therefore implying consent. Share photos on social media wearing denim to show solidarity with all survivors of sexual violence.
