Sponsored by the Division of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity, the Faculty Institute for Inclusive Teaching (FIIT) seeks to bring together a cross-disciplinary network of faculty to explore promising practices around diversity and inclusiveness in the classroom. Applications are now being accepted for faculty who are interested in participating in FITT workshop activities, scheduled for Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Kristie A. Ford, professor of sociology and director of the Center for Leadership, Teaching, and Learning at Skidmore College.

Faculty who are new to conversations about diversity and inclusive teaching are encouraged to apply. A committee of tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty with experience in diversity and inclusive pedagogy will select participants based on the proposals submitted. Participants who complete the program will receive a $1000.00 honorarium.
