Accessibility and ADA

Members of the Accessibility and ADA staff interact with people who use wheelchairs in the Shack of the MU Student Center.

The Office of Accessibility and ADA promotes and sustains an accessible community at Mizzou where people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of our campus.

While the University of Missouri is operating remotely due to COVID-19, staff in the Office of Accessibility and ADA continue to provide accommodations for faculty and staff remotely. To request an accommodation or ask an ADA question, email or call 573-884-7278.

We are one of three offices serving people with disabilities at Mizzou. The Disability Center provides accommodations for students with disabilities. The Adaptive Computing Technology (ACT) Center provides assistive technology, alternative formats, digital accessibility guidance and ergonomics consultations.
