Campus Interfaith Meditation and Prayer Spaces

  • MSA/GPC Interfaith Prayer Rooms on Campus
  • MU Student Center
    Open study rooms on the second floor may be used by following the reservation policies. A minimum of two people for no more than two hours is required.
  • Women's Center
    The Women's Center counseling room may be used as prayer space.
  • Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center
    Open study rooms may be used and can be accessed from the computer lab. Students will need their student ID to swipe into the computer lab after hours.
  • A.P. Green Chapel
    Located on the east side of the Memorial Union south tower. It is opened from 7 a.m. to Midnight. Reservations can be made by student groups after 5 p.m.
  • Ellis Library
    The southeast corner of level one offers a secluded space. Signage requests respect for those engaged in meditation or prayer. Open rooms may be available during less busy times of the academic terms.
  • St. Thomas Newman Center
    Newman has a small chapel where all are welcome to pray from 8 a.m. through 10 p.m.
  • Mizzou Hillel
    Spaces are available to individuals Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Residence Halls
    Residential study rooms are available for residents and guests.
