Fireside chat with Dr. Jerome Adams

Dr. Jerome Adams, former U.S. surgeon general, was the keynote speaker for MU’s Black History Month. The theme of Black History Month 2022 was Black Health and Wellness.

Dr. Jerome Adams, former U.S. surgeon general, visited the University of Missouri as the keynote speaker for Black History Month on Feb. 28, 2022. During the keynote event, Dr. Adams spoke with David Mitchell, the Ruth L. Hulston Professor of Law at the University of Missouri School of Law and Co-Director of the Michael A. Middleton Center for Race, Citizenship and Justice, and answered questions from the audience. While on campus, Dr. Adams also visited with students at the School of Medicine, School of Law and the Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center. Read more about his visit in President Mun Choi’s blog.
