Initiated in 2017 by the Arab American and the Arab America Foundation, this month is a time to recognize and reflect on the impact of the Arab community, its heritage and its culture. In 2022, President Joe Biden acknowledged NAAHM as a national celebration, leading to Congress, the U.S. Department of State and 45 state governors issuing proclamations in its honor.
