Katryna Sardis:

Katryna Sardis is Managing Coordinator at the Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention Center located within the University of Missouri-Columbia. During her four years in the professional field, Katryna has worked her way up from a graduate assistant, to education coordinator, to managing coordinator. Throughout her professional career, Katryna has learned the nuances of operating a sexual violence response and prevention program within higher education.

Katryna holds her social work license in the State of Missouri and is a certified Green Dot College and Community Instructor. She facilitates and oversees all relationship and sexual violence prevention education for the campus and develops all programmatic efforts for the center. Through all her work, she strives to ensure she educates the campus community on how they can protect each other from power-based personal violence.

Educational background:
Bachelors in Social Work and minor in Psychology from the University of Missouri, December 2015. Masters in Social Work from the University of Missouri School of Social Work, May 2017.

How long have you been at the university?
I have been here one year in my current position, two years as a graduate assistant/TA, and three and a half years as an office assistant in Nutrition & Exercise Physiology.

What committees, professional organizations or other groups do you serve on?
Pregnant and Parenting Task Force and the MU Violence Against Women Committee.
