The Emerging Leaders Conference was held on the University of Missouri’s campus from June 22 to June 25, 2024. Hosted by the Office of Academic Access & Leadership Development within the Division of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity, this experience hosts a group of high school students from around the state of Missouri to develop their leadership skills.

During the conference, scholars participated in various activities focused on exploring and debating community issues, understanding the legislative process and developing leadership and teamwork skills. They toured the campus and had sessions on college admissions and financial aid, showcasing the unique benefits of Mizzou’s campus.

The Emerging Leaders Conference is a collaboration between the Office of Academic Access & Leadership Development and the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus.
